Music, song and dance was enjoyed by all as Bakersfield was visited by the group of Trikitilariak, Bertsolariak, and Dantzariak, Laxok Taldea. This phenomenal list of artists included the talented Ansorregi eta Larrañaga, Angel Mari Peñagarikano, Andoni Egaña, Iban Agote, Kimetz Larrañaga, Oier Imaz and Jon Maya.
"UPELETAN ERRONKA" is a performance that tells the story of rivalries which are very common in the Basque country. Innovative in its approach, this spectacular show combined the skills of trikitixa (diatonic accordion and tamborine music), bertsolaritza (Basque bard), and dance while maintaining its Basque roots. The story takes place in the old country's cider house and as those who attended would attest it was an emotion-packed evening that not many will soon forget.
