This year Bakersfield is hosting NABO's
Udaleku or Music Camp. Children
10 to 15 years of age can participate. The
cost of the camp is $150. This is a great opportunity
for your children to get a taste of what it
is to be Basque and learn about their heritage.
They will be
learning a little of everything from dancing,
to cooking, to playing pala, mus, txistu, basque
language and
songs, etc. It's also a great way for
your children to meet other children from different
basque clubs and
to form some lasting friendships and memories.
If you are interested in attending you can
call the Music
Camp Director, Krisite Onaindia at 831-2527.
